Bullish US LLC & CoinDesk Inc. is seeking a highly detailed Compliance Analyst to ensure our regulated marketplace meets CFTC Core Principles and UK FCA standards.

This dual-entity role spans the DCM, DCO, and benchmark administration in the evolving digital asset space. You will develop and operationalize compliance programs, prepare filings, monitor regulatory developments, maintain rulebooks, and coordinate with DSRO and UK regulators.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of regulatory compliance experience in DCM, DCO, SEF, or FCM environments.
• Familiarity with CFTC Regulations Parts 37, 38, and 39; knowledge of UK BMR and FCA regulations is a plus.
• Strong ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable internal procedures.
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting rulebooks and investigation reports.
• Comfort working in the fast-paced digital asset industry and learning the Financial Promotions regime and benchmark administration quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and operationalizing compliance programs for the DCM and DCO in accordance with CFTC Core Principles and regulations.
• Monitor global regulatory developments (specifically CFTC) and assess their operational impact on both entities.
• Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, rule amendments, and required notices to the CFTC.
• Assist in responding to regulatory examinations, formal inquiries, and information requests.
• Help maintain and update DCM rulebooks, trading rules, and market integrity policies.
• Coordinate ongoing compliance matters pertaining to our Designated SRO agreement.
• Review position limit hedge exception requests in coordination with DSRO.
• Attend weekly and monthly meetings to review Market Regulation updates and surveillance findings with DSRO.
• Assist in monitoring DCO compliance with Part 39 requirements, including financial resource standards, risk management, and customer protection.
• Support the compliance-driven development and testing of default management procedures, stress testing frameworks, and margin methodologies.
• Ensure cross-departmental compliance with System Safeguard requirements.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports when potential rule violations or reporting breaches are identified.
• Maintain the UK BMR license and manage FCA notifications for CoinDesk Indices & Data.
• Draft, review, and update internal compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Facilitate the integration of new products and business initiatives through rigorous compliance review.
