Job summary

Palantir Technologies is seeking a U.S. Government attorney to support its federal government business. The role covers negotiating complex contracts, advising on IP, data privacy, and regulatory compliance, and shaping legal strategy in response to federal policy developments.

The candidate should have a J.D. and 3+ years of relevant experience, with strong writing and analytical skills, and a willingness to obtain an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree with 3+ years of firm, in‑house, or government experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a teamwork mindset.
• Proven ability to propose creative solutions to novel issues.
• Strong organizational skills with multitasking in a fast‑moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise on contracts and license agreements for Palantir’s federal government business.
• Draft and negotiate contracts and license agreements.
• Advise on product development issues, compliance, IP, data privacy, and conflicts of interest.
• Develop and implement strategies to manage and respond to government inquiries.
• Monitor federal legislative, regulatory, and policy developments relevant to Palantir’s government business, including AI policy and data governance.
• Engage in policy processes and Capitol Hill engagement, translating policy into actionable legal strategy.
• Exercise initiative and creativity in solving challenges.
