Job summary

Moonfare is seeking a US Fund Operations Intern in New York to support day-to-day operations of US-domiciled private equity feeder funds. You will learn fund setup, administration and reporting, collaborating with US and Luxembourg teams to ensure a smooth investor experience.

You will engage in lifecycle tasks, partner with internal teams, and identify process improvements as Moonfare grows its US presence. Base $20/hour, 20 hours/week, internship-based role.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior pursuing a financial or business degree.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willing to learn and complete tasks efficiently.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Proficient in Google Docs and Excel.
• Excellent English communication skills—both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Fund Lifecycle Support: help with tasks across the fund lifecycle and keep data accurate.
• General Partner Subscriptions: assist review of subscription docs and KYC/AML checks.
• Service Provider Coordination: work with admins, auditors, and tax advisors on reconciliations and reports.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: partner with Sales, Investor Relations, Legal and Luxembourg teams for smooth US investor experience.
• Process Improvement: document processes and build scalable templates and tools.
