Default Brand is seeking a US Equity Analyst to provide coverage of the Technology sector and a broader value universe. The role involves generating differentiated investment ideas and building robust financial models to assess companies' financial health.

The ideal candidate will have experience in fundamental equity research and a strong value orientation. This position offers a target base salary range of $150,000 to $200,000 along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience covering the Technology sector from a value perspective.
• Demonstrated track record of generating actionable investment ideas.

Responsibilities

• Generate investment ideas with clear investment theses.
• Build financial models focusing on balance sheet quality and free cash flow.
• Cover 30-40 companies in the Technology sector.
• Track earnings calls and management meetings.

Skills

Fundamental equity research experience

Strong financial modeling skills

Proficiency in Bloomberg or FactSet

Value orientation

Education

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting

MBA or CFA preferred
