Job summary

TransPerfect is seeking native English (United States) speakers for the Gardenia Speech Collection project. This fully remote, independent contractor role involves recording wake-up phrases and scripted utterances for voice assistant technology.

Eligible participants must be 18+, US-born and resident, native English (US), and able to use a mobile phone and headset or device microphone in a quiet environment. Expect a QA review after submission.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Be born and live in the United States.
• Be native speaker of English (US).
• Be able to use a mobile phone for this project.
• Be able to use a wired headset or the device microphone for recording phrases.
• Have access to a quiet indoor environment to do the recordings.
• Pass initial accent screening.

Responsibilities

• Record short wake-up phrases and scripted utterances as guided for a voice assistant.
• Follow project guidelines and complete assets for submission.
• Undergo Quality Assurance review and receive feedback after submission.
