Job summary

Welo Global is seeking native-level voice actors for scripted and conversational audio data collection in the United States. Sessions include scripted and unscripted recordings, with a dedicated Session Director guiding the process and ensuring delivery in the specified dialect.

You'll need your own quiet space and professional microphone (e.g., RODE NT-USB Mini or Blue Yeti) and closed-back headphones. Data consent will cover usage for AI voice model development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a voice actor, actor, or theater performer.
• Native or native-equivalent fluency in the required language (with specific dialect).
• Access to a quiet recording space, acoustically treated if selected.
• Owns a dedicated professional microphone (e.g. RODE NT-USB Mini, Blue Yeti) and upgraded USB condenser or XLR mic + audio interface if selected.
• Owns closed-back monitoring headphones (required for session recording).
• Able to self-direct and take live direction from a Session Director.

Responsibilities

• Record scripted material in a natural, conversational tone.
• Record unscripted, spontaneous speech on a given topic.
• Set up and manage your own recording space and equipment for session recording.
• Deliver all recordings entirely in the required language (with dialect).
• Two supervised sessions of approximately 4 hours each, guided by a Session Director.
