Job summary

Welo Data, part of Welocalize, is seeking native-level voice talent for Project Hydrus. You’ll record scripted and spontaneous speech from a quiet, acoustically treated space, guided in real time by a Session Director during two sessions of about four hours each.

Work is fully remote with flexible scheduling. Candidates should have voice acting experience, own a professional USB microphone and closed-back headphones, and be able to follow direction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a voice actor or performer.
• Native or native-equivalent fluency in the required language with dialect.
• Access to a quiet recording space acoustically treated for sessions.
• Owns a professional USB condenser microphone for auditions.
• Owns closed-back monitoring headphones.
• Able to self-direct and follow live direction from a Session Director.

Responsibilities

• Record scripted material in a natural, conversational tone.
• Record unscripted, spontaneous speech on given topics.
• Set up and manage your own recording space and equipment.
• Deliver all recordings in the required language/dialect without code-switching.
