Job summary

Jobicy is recruiting for a voice recording project where you will provide native-level, conversational English performances. Sessions involve guided and self-directed recording, with strict adherence to dialect and language requirements.

You will need a quiet, acoustically treated space and a professional microphone to participate. Two supervised sessions are planned, with real-time direction from a Session Director.

Qualifications

• Experience as a voice actor, actor, or theater performer, or similar performance background.
• Native or native-equivalent fluency in the required language with the specified dialect.
• Access to a quiet recording space free of echo and background noise.
• Owns or will acquire a dedicated, professional-grade microphone for audition and session recording if selected.
• Owns closed-back monitoring headphones for session recording.

Responsibilities

• Record scripted material in a natural, conversational tone.
• Record unscripted, spontaneous speech on a given topic.
• Set up and manage your own recording space and equipment for session recording.
• Deliver all recordings in the required language and dialect without code-switching.
