Job summary

Halliburton in Duncan, Oklahoma is seeking an entry-level Material Handler to support material movement at the site. The role involves loading and unloading, transporting materials, and maintaining equipment while adhering to safety rules.

This position is full-time with a standard dayshift schedule. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be prepared for occasional overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to perform manual material handling.
• Overtime may be required occasionally on Friday and Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Report to Foreman and follow instructions.
• Read and interpret instructions and procedures.
• Load, unload, move materials within plant, yard, or work site.
• Move materials using handtruck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, conveyor, or crane/hoist.
• Complete records, maintain tools and equipment, and clean up.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Work Shift

(DAYS) Monday-Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm

Overtime may be required occasionally on Friday and Saturday based on business needs.

Job Duties

• Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman.
• Reads and interprets instructions and procedures.
• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.
• May move materials manually or using handtruck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, conveyor, or hand-operated crane or hoist.
• Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
• Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
• Performs other duties and activities as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Material Handler or Material Handler II.
