Job description

The Material Handler under direct supervision, assists in bulk loading, material delivery/loading, & packing.

• Pay Rate: Up to $25.00/hour, depending on experience
• Assignment Length: 3-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm with occasional longer hours during high workload | 40-hrs

Responsibilities:

• Adheres to HSE guidelines and observes all safety rules and procedures.
• Assist in loading barges/Bulk Trucks, Railcars, w/ requested grade and net weight required.
• Load packaged material and complete necessary paperwork.
• Run Forklift to load/unload trucks
• Loads/unloads flatbeds, railcars, trucks, and van trailers.

Qualifications:

• Skills are typically acquired through completion of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Having a CDL is an added bonus.
• Responsive to phone calls and willing to work extra hours when needed.
• Follows all safety rules and keeps efficiency in mind.
• Motivated, hardworking, and a great team player.
• Always shows up on time and has dependable attendance.
