Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Domestic Transportation Specialist to manage safe, reliable, and cost-efficient shipping of ophthalmic equipment across the U.S. network. You will handle parcel, LTL, and FTL, coordinate pickups, monitor status, and collaborate with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 2+ years in transportation or supply chain, strong MS Office skills, and experience with parcel/LTL/FTL. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of transportation or supply chain experience.
• Strong knowledge of parcel, LTL, and FTL.
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily transportation planning and shipment creation for parcel, LTL, and FTL.
• Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and special requirements for sensitive medical instruments.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve delivery exceptions, delays, or damages.
• Serve as first-line contact for carriers to resolve issues and monitor performance.
• Track transportation KPIs and update dashboards for improvements.
• Manage inventory transfers in Microsoft Great Plains and resolve shipping exceptions.
