Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Distribution Clerk (Mailroom) to oversee the movement of materials in the mailroom and ensure timely pickup and delivery of orders and products.

You will organize daily routes, sort mail, prepare shipments neatly, and follow company policies while maintaining a clean work area. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in distribution, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of experience in distribution/logistics.
• Good reading, writing and verbal communication; basic keyboard/CRT use.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily activities to ensure efficient routes and meet delivery requirements.
• Open and sort all incoming mail and orders per procedures.
• Package completed work neatly for shipment, including materials.
• Initiate invoice sequences and route completed work by best carrier.
• Match invoices and file as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow attendance, safety rules and confidentiality policies.
