Job summary

PA Consulting Group is seeking a senior Design Practice Lead for the US, based in Boston, to lead a multidisciplinary team and deliver complex, regulated product development programs that combine design with engineering, science and healthcare expertise.

You will drive capability growth, nurture senior client relationships and contribute to business development in Health & Life Sciences and other sectors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience within product development, innovation consulting or outsourced product and technology development.
• Significant MedTech experience with regulated environments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams spanning design, engineering and scientific disciplines.
• Strong commercial awareness with track record of growth and business development.
• Experience across drug delivery, diagnostics, digital health and/or surgical technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the US Design Practice and develop capability to support growth across Health & Life Sciences and other sectors.
• Deliver complex multidisciplinary programs from ideation through implementation with high-quality outcomes.
• Build and maintain senior client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Drive business development and shape propositions to convert pipeline into strategic engagements.
• Promote best practice in design methods aligned with Quality Management Systems and regulatory frameworks.
• Develop high-performing teams, coach senior talent and lead workforce planning.
• Champion human-centered design within technical and regulated environments.
• Represent PA and the Design Capability to internal and external communities.
