Alexion seeks a Senior Director to lead US Country Operations for Study Start-up and Site Partnerships in Boston. You will set strategy, manage end-to-end study delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive enrollment and diversity while aligning with cross-functional aims.

The role requires 10+ years in Clinical Operations, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with site partnerships and trial management. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related discipline is required.
• At least 10 years of clinical research experience in Clinical Operations.
• Experience leading a large-scale Clinical Operations function in pharma/biotech.
• Strong knowledge of US clinical trial environment, regulatory requirements, ICH/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the US Country Operations model with standards and resources.
• Lead a 65+ employee Country Operations team to deliver studies on time, on budget, with quality.
• Direct end-to-end study delivery from feasibility to close-out to meet timelines and commitments.
• Drive US enrollment and trial diversity targets and manage risk with leadership visibility.
