Job summary

Brinks seeks a US Controller to ensure the integrity, timeliness, and compliance of all financial reporting across Brinks US. The role is the single point of accountability for close execution, consolidation, controls, statutory and external reporting, and audit outcomes.

Reporting to the NA Controller, this position conducts US GAAP technical research, advises senior management on accounting alternatives, and collaborates with corporate accounting teams and NA business units to solve complex

Qualifications

• Experience managing the monthly, quarterly and yearly close for multiple entities.
• Experience managing staff accountants direct or indirect reports (through Shared Services).
• Experience reviewing monthly expenses and capitalizations in line with Corporate Policy.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, lease accounting, and fixed assets.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end oversight of the period close and consolidation across multiple entities and currencies.
• Ensure close calendars are achieved with consistency, accuracy, and predictability.
• Review and approve market-level trial balances, key estimates, and high-judgment accounting entries.
• Present complex accounting matters and analyses to senior management clearly and concisely.
• Lead or assist special projects as needed, including SOX, FP&A and TAX support.
