Brink's is seeking a US Controller to oversee the integrity, timeliness, and compliance of financial reporting across the US. The role serves as the single point of accountability for close execution, consolidation, controls, statutory and external reporting, and audit outcomes.
You will partner with market teams and center-led functions to ensure accurate financial results. You will lead end-to-end period close, review market-level balances, and drive improvements in internal controls.

This position is accountable for the integrity, timeliness, and compliance of all financial reporting across Brinks US. The role serves as the single point of accountability for close execution, consolidation, controls, statutory and external reporting, and audit outcomes, combining deep technical accounting leadership with strong operational and execution governance. This position reports to the N.A Controller, and is also responsible for U.S. GAAP technical research, advising senior management of alternatives, strategies, and pitfalls of various accounting matters. In this role, you will leverage your in-depth accounting knowledge and research capabilities to provide solutions to complex and challenging business problems. This role will work closely with the corporate accounting teams and will collaborate with team members across various business functions in North America business to solve our most complex accounting issues. Own end-to-end oversight of the period close and consolidation, including multiple legal entities, operating models, and currencies. Ensure close calendars are achieved with consistency, accuracy, and predictability. Review and approve market-level trial balances, key estimates, and high‑judgment accounting entries. Serve as the primary escalation point for issues impacting financial integrity, compliance, or timing, driving resolution in partnership with market teams and center‑led functions. Continuous learning – Providing guidance and training related to technical accounting topics to the business. Assist or lead special projects on an as needed basis. Presenting complex accounting matters, relevant communications, and analyses to senior management in a clear and concise manner
Overall Responsibilities: Drive Brinks US close performance, including fleet accounting, fixed assets, Lease accounting, intercompany eliminations, AP, and other small US entities. Serve as Brink’s primary owner of Record-to-Report execution delivered through managed services, governing SLAs, KPIs, and structured service reviews with strong root‑cause discipline. Lead resolution of execution issues impacting close quality, cycle time, or reliability, with a focus on sustainable improvements rather than workarounds.
