We’re still early in our journey, which means every person who joins shapes the future of our product, culture, and growth. If you’re excited by big challenges, global impact, and the chance to grow fast with a world-class team, ARQ is the place to do it.

Who we’re looking for

As part of our Compliance Operations team, you’ll lead key workstreams within the day-to-day U.S. compliance program across BSA/AML, consumer financial protection, and applicable banking, payments and card-network requirements. Review sanctions, PEP, and other high-risk escalations, maintaining clear and audit-ready case documentation.

  2. Consumer Compliance: Translate applicable U.S. federal and state consumer-financial laws, regulations and card-network requirements into practical procedures and controls. Provide guidance on customer communications, disclosures, marketing, complaints, disputes, error resolution and servicing practices.

  3. Product Compliance Advisory: Advise Product, Operations, Legal and Engineering throughout product development and change-management processes. Identify compliance risks, define requirements, review proposed customer experiences and controls, and support the compliant launch of new products, features and partnerships.

  4. Control and Process Improvement: Identify gaps and improve KYC/KYB, transaction-monitoring, sanctions-screening and regulatory-reporting processes. Use alert volumes, false-positive rates, QA findings and emerging typologies to recommend more effective and scalable controls.

  5. Stakeholder Management: Support audits, examinations and information requests, and act as a day-to-day compliance contact for banking partners and internal stakeholders. Prepare accurate, audit-ready documentation and elevate material issues to Compliance leadership.

What you’ll need to succeed
  • 3-5 years in US financial crime or compliance operations at a fintech, bank, MSB, payments company, or a consultancy's practice

  • Hands-on alert disposition experience: transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, or KYC/CDD case review

  • Knowledge and ability to drive US consumer protection rules across the product offering
