Job summary

DataOne is seeking a senior communications leader to define and deploy the US communications strategy in alignment with the group’s brand platform and governance. The role focuses on industry credibility, local engagement in Vineland and Cumberland County, and strengthening employer attractiveness in a tight talent market.

You will manage external media relations, community engagement programs, institutional affairs, crisis communications, and internal governance, ensuring consistent messaging

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of experience in corporate communications, media relations or public affairs.
• Experience in heavy infrastructure sectors (data centers, energy, construction, utilities).
• Crisis communications experience in industrial or construction-site environments.

Responsibilities

• External Communications and Media Relations: build media database, craft press materials, brief spokespeople, lead speaking opportunities.
• Local Acceptance and Community Relations: map stakeholders, design engagement programs, prepare presentations, translate technical topics for public messaging.
• Institutional Communications and Public Affairs: support relations with state/county stakeholders, prepare institutional materials, ensure messaging alignment with permitting data.
• Sensitive and Crisis Communications: develop crisis framework, cover incidents, provide on-call communications, conduct post-incident reviews.
• Employer Brand and Recruitment Support: adapt employer brand for US, design recruitment campaigns, partner with local institutions.
• Internal Communications and Brand Governance: adapt Group communications for US teams, ensure brand guidelines, manage agencies, track KPIs.
