Job summary

350.org is seeking a passionate leader to drive the US program with strategic planning, fundraising, and communications expertise. You will guide national strategies, grow the US supporter base, and coordinate with global teams on campaigns and messaging to advance climate justice.

You will lead donor engagement, proposals, and reports, while representing 350.org in media and events. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and a commitment to justice and inclusion.

Qualifications

  • At least six (6) years of experience in political organizing and campaigning.
  • Track record as an effective spokesperson in public-facing events and media interviews.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in people management and teamwork in diverse and multi-racial organizations.
  • Track record in designing and implementing digital communication strategies.
  • Experience contributing to institutional fundraising, donor engagement, proposal development, and grant reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support the implementation of short-, medium-, and long-term strategies to grow our US work.
  • Lead the US Campaign with opportunities aligned to global objectives and engage US supporters.
  • Partner with Institutional and Individual Giving teams to articulate priorities and funding needs.
  • Assist fundraising plans by identifying priority investment areas and funding gaps.
  • Translate program strategies into donor-facing narratives and reports for various audiences.
  • Support media and social media engagement, crisis and rapid response messaging.
  • Represent the US program in donor conversations and external events as needed.
  • Build relationships with philanthropic and civil society stakeholders to strengthen visibility and funding prospects.
  • Develop and manage US budgets and project budgets.
