What you'll do:
In this role, you will:
- Deliver finished fabricated parts from the fabrication area or e-coat lines to the shipping dock and complete necessary paperwork.
- Load and unload trucks for inbound and outbound materials.
- Complete shipment paperwork and SAP transactions for inbound and outbound materials.
- Move pallets of in-process work to accessible locations for other team members.
- Maintain department supplies with pallets and dispose of unusable pallets.
- Store parts in designated racks or floor locations.
- Dispose of scrap materials at designated scrap locations within the plant.
- Locate materials with proper identification and process receiving paperwork at the office.
- Ensure timely shipping and receiving of parts to meet customer service commitments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a Team Lead or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
- Ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
- Candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered; active-duty military members are exempt from this restriction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating various types of material-handling equipment safely.
Skills:
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, and perform all essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
