What you'll do:
In this role, you will:
- Deliver finished fabricated parts from the fabrication area or the e-coat lines to the shipping dock and complete the necessary paperwork.
- Load and unload trucks for inbound and outbound materials.
- Complete shipment paperwork and perform SAP transactions for inbound and outbound materials.
- Move pallets of in-process work to accessible locations for other customers.
- Maintain the department's supply of pallets and dispose of unusable pallets.
- Store parts in racks or floor locations.
- Dispose of scrap materials at designated locations within the plant.
- Locate materials with proper identification and process receiving paperwork at the office.
- Receive, locate, and ship parts daily to ensure customer service commitments are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a Team Lead or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
- No relocation benefits are offered; candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered, with military candidates exempt from this limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the safe operation of various types of material-handling equipment.
Skills:
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, and perform all essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
