This is a US-based position. We are recruiting for multiple coaches in Texas for current and future openings!

Description

We are seeking a part-time casual career coach based in the Houston area to support our relocation and/or outplacement solutions. Relocation support involves helping employees and their spouses/families acclimate to new cities and find employment opportunities. Outplacement support involves assisting employees in searching for new careers.

The Coach works 1:1 with employees of our client companies who are relocating or seeking new employment, utilizing IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology. The Coach also supports spouses or partners in their job search.

This is a part-time, casual, remote position, approximately 15-20 hours per week, with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities

1. Establish rapport with employees and motivate them to achieve goals.
2. Guide employees through coaching processes and milestones.
3. Advise on career development, transition issues, and options.
4. Coach on résumé writing, marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiating.
5. Maintain electronic records for each employee served.
6. Monitor progress and provide consultation on job search skills and personal issues affecting careers.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in job search strategy and career coaching across various industries and levels.
• Experience with résumé development, interview prep, career exploration, LinkedIn, social media, salary negotiations, and personal branding.
• Currently residing in the Houston area with knowledge of local job market.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with virtual coaching.
• Experience navigating VISA challenges is a plus.
• Technologically savvy with high-speed internet and headset with microphone for remote work.

Ideal Candidate

• Master’s degree in human behavior, business, or related field (preferred).
• Coaching certification or training (highly regarded).
• Personal relocation experience is a plus.
