Chesapeake Urology is seeking a credentialed Ultrasonographer to perform high-quality ultrasound exams in a fast-paced urology setting. You will prepare patients, obtain accurate data, operate ultrasound equipment, and provide findings to physicians for diagnosis and treatment.

The role requires an Associates degree, ARDMS Abdomen and Physics certifications, BLS, and CME maintenance. Travel to other sites within the region may be required; this is a full-time position with competitive pay and

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree required.
• ARDMS Abdomen and Physics certification required and will be verified prior to employment.
• Certificate from a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program will be verified prior to employment.
• BLS certification required and will be verified prior to employment.
• Maintain CME requirements as required by ARDMS and verified periodically.
• Board-eligible candidates have 1 year to pass boards.

Aufgaben

• Perform high-quality ultrasound exams and generate reports.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients for exams.
• Record accurate patient information and timeouts.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain quality images.
• Provide oral/written summaries of findings to assist diagnosis.
• Ensure proper images differentiating normal vs. pathological areas.
• Transfer images to PACS and maintain PACS knowledge.
• Maintain clean, safe exam rooms and log cleaning.
