Job summary

VA Hampton Health Care is seeking a Urologist to deliver comprehensive care for urinary and male reproductive system conditions, including cancer and erectile dysfunction. Advanced techniques such as robotic surgery and blue-light cystoscopy are used to treat complex cases.

The role requires board-eligible/board-certified credentials, a current US medical license, and a commitment to the VA's patient-first approach. The position is full-time with a robust total rewards package and CME support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice in a US state or DC.
• Completed residency in a core specialty with board-certification eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and treat illnesses of the urinary and male reproductive systems (and related female disorders).
• Provide pre-operative evaluations, inpatient/outpatient consultations, and postoperative follow-up.
• Obtain informed consent and discuss risks/benefits of treatments, including surgical options.
