Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Staff Nurse for Urology in Wheaton, IL. The RN will triage patients in clinic and by phone, perform sterile catheterizations, collect and prepare samples for lab analysis, and provide comprehensive patient and family education on bladder and urinary tract disorders.

The role requires IL RN licensure, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and CPR certification, with preference for 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current IL RN licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients both in clinic and over the phone.
• Perform sterile catheterizations on both men and women.
• Collect sterile urine samples, draw blood, and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Perform urine analyses and use the bladder scanner.
• Provide care for patients with kidney conditions and renal stones.
• Interpret laboratory studies and use standing orders to prescribe medications when needed.
• Conduct head-to-toe RN assessments and report complications to the physician.
• Educate patients and families about bladder, kidney, and urinary tract disorders.
