Job summary

The Phoenix VA Health Care System seeks a Section Chief of Urology to lead the Urology Service within Surgical Service. Fulfilling U.S. citizenship, MD/DO with an unrestricted license, BC/BE in Urology, English proficiency, and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and a medical degree (MD/DO) with an unrestricted medical license.
• BC/BE in Urology and proficiency in English for patient care.
• Preferred supervisory experience and expertise in laparoscopic/robotic surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urology care for hospitalized and ambulatory patients.
• Coordinate and provide urology surgery consultations across the medical center.
• Recruit and supervise physicians to deliver high-quality patient care and teaching.
