Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, is seeking a registered nurse to join the Urology Clinic 1G team. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care, pre- and post-operative support, and patient assessments within a no-weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree is required from an accredited program.
• All RN hires without a BSN must enroll in BSN within 2 years and finish within 7 years.
• NC nursing license must be obtained within 90 days for eligible hires.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care.
• Use nursing judgment to tailor care to patient needs.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other care providers.
• Act as team leader or charge nurse for a unit when assigned.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
