Job summary

The South Bend Clinic in South Bend, IN, is seeking an experienced RN in the Urology department. You will support clinic operations, triage patients, and assist with clinical procedures in a physician-led team focused on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include documenting care, managing waiting areas, verifying insurance in Epic, and adhering to HIPAA. A current Indiana RN license is required; CPR is preferred. This role is onsite with a strong emphasis on teamwork and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with Indiana license; CPR preferred.
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides triage and manages office flow to meet patient needs.
• Performs the technical components of department procedures.
• Documents patient care thoroughly and legally.
• Communicates patient care clearly and accurately.
• Receives patients professionally and rooms them per protocol.
• Keeps logs for equipment like fridge temps and autoclave.
• Verifies insurance coverage and documents in Epic.
• Applies insurance guidelines to direct patient care.
• Responds appropriately to emergencies (codes).
• Demonstrates clinic service standards and proficiency with computer systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned; adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
