Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is a respected health care leader operating across eastern Massachusetts. We seek a Registered Nurse specializing in Urology to deliver patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice, coordinating with the care team to ensure safety and quality.

Location: 291 Independence Dr, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467. Standard hours: 40 hours weekly (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM).

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State-approved school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted MA nursing license.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• Up-to-date with nursing care standards in the specialty.
• Computer experience with word processing and spreadsheets.
• EMR experience or aptitude to learn.

Responsibilities

• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families; educate and manage care transitions.
• Deliver patient care and follow RN protocols, including med administration and chronic disease management.
• Conduct telephone triage; escalate concerns and support care coordination.
• Perform clinical procedures and manage acute conditions; document in EMR.
• Contribute to quality improvement; mentor staff; uphold patient safety.
