Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Practice Manager for Urology to lead and coordinate both patient care and clerical operations. This onsite role supports the Director, oversees the day-to-day operations, financial management, and facility adequacy within the assigned areas, and ensures exceptional service delivery across staff and physicians.

The role requires 5-7 years in a related field, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and knowledge of third-party payer regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
• Requires knowledge of Third party payer regulations.
• Prefer a Master's degree in Health Care Administration or a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or health care related field with a minimum of 2 years of concurrent management experience within an ambulatory/physician practice setting.
• At least three years of prior experience in a business office and clinical setting with management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and facilitate many aspects of management for patient care and clerical staff to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Assist the Director in planning, directing and overall operations within their areas of responsibility.
• Provide day-to-day supervision in assigned patient services areas, financial management and facility adequacy.
• Maintain optimal communication and collaboration between practice staff, physicians, external customers and health system staff to ensure service delivery that exceeds needs and expectations.
