Job summary

The Staff Urologist at VA St Louis Health Care System provides comprehensive urologic care to Veterans and leads surgical teams in a full range of procedures, from endoscopic to open operations. You will supervise residents, collaborate with APPs and nursing staff, and participate in workload planning and teaching in a dynamic, academic affiliate setting.

Candidates must be board eligible/certified in Urology and hold an active US license.

Qualifications

• Urology specialty training and board certification/eligibility.
• Active medical license in US.
• Ability to supervise residents and coordinate with APPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urologic care for Veterans.
• Lead and supervise surgical teams and OR procedures.
• Teach and supervise residents and trainees.
• Coordinate inpatient and outpatient care with nurses and case managers.
