Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our busy general urology practice. You will provide comprehensive outpatient urologic care in a supportive, team-based environment, with a Monday–Friday schedule and clinic hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

After onboarding, four 10-hour days may be possible. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing a wide range of urologic conditions, in-office procedures, education, follow-ups, and collaboration with attending

Qualifications

• Current license and active registration as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records; Epic experience is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate across departments to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad set of general urologic conditions.
• See scheduled and same-day urgent add-ons (hematuria, UTIs, PSA elevations, stones).
• Perform in-office procedures (testosterone and Eligard injections).
• Educate patients, conduct follow-ups, and manage medications.
• Collaborate with attending urologists, nursing, and admin staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Order and interpret imaging and lab tests; document encounters and plans in EMR.
