Urology Physician at Veterans Health Administration

This role requires a board-certified or board-eligible urologist with experience in surgical techniques and a commitment to veteran healthcare.
The VA Tampa Healthcare System is actively recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to care for our Veterans. We seek individuals with broad experience in all aspects of clinical urology. The Urologist will provide direct patient care to our unique Veteran population. Duties include:
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Work schedules are determined by the supervisor and may include various shifts, on-call coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary Range: $365,000 - $400,000
No State Income Tax
Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): Position Eligible
Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days per year (including annual leave, sick leave, federal holidays, and CME leave)
Retirement: Federal pension (5 years vesting) and 401K with up to 5% VA contributions
Insurance: Federal health, vision, dental, life, and long-term care insurance options
Licensure: One full, unrestricted license from any US State or territory
CME: Up to $1,000 per year reimbursement (full-time, board-certified)
Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage
Contract: No employment contract or restrictions on moonlighting
Preferred Experience: Board-certified/eligible urologist with 1-3 years of recent surgical experience.
