Practice Details

• Seeking a BE/BC Urologist to join a busy "bread-and-butter" General Urology practice.
• No call, No weekends provides a remarkable work-life balance.
• Tremendous opportunity due to multiple retirements.
• Executive support to grow a group with a goal of 5 or 6 Urologists over 5 years.
• State-of-the-art equipment including both Xi and Si robots; recent investment in an additional Xi Robot in April 2021.
• Experienced OR staff with dedicated Urology and Robotics teams.
• Area needs support and expansion of urology services—you will have a thriving practice from day one!
• Large number of employed Primary Care providers and three area hospitals in our Health System create a healthy, loyal referral network.
• Hospitals have well-established Hospitalist Programs, ranked in Illinois for patient outcomes.
• Support from an Urologist (your ideal colleague) and three experienced Urology Advanced Practice Providers.
• Physician-led organization with leadership development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency in Urology.
• Certification: Current certification in Urology by the American Board of Urology or in Urological Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. Certification must be achieved within five years of training completion and maintained.
• Clinical Experience (Initial): Documentation of provision of urological surgery services reflecting the scope and complexity of privileges requested during the previous year.
• Clinical Experience (Reappointment): Documentation of clinical services over the past 24 months, based on professional practice evaluation and outcomes.
• Fellowship Training: Considering candidates with fellowship training in Robotic & Laparoscopic Surgery, Urologic Oncology, Stone Disease and Advanced Endourology, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, or Male Infertility/Microsurgery/Andrology, who seek to practice at least 50% Bread and Butter Urology.
