Urology Opening - Olympia Fields, Illinois

Located 30 miles from Downtown Chicago

Position Details

• Full-time, permanent
• Summary: A challenging position where you will see patients, perform interesting urology procedures, teach, and train the next generation of physicians while earning an attractive salary.
• The ideal candidate will exemplify what an outstanding physician looks like and serve as a role model for residents. They will have a passion for excellence in teaching both at the bedside and in didactic sessions, and be committed to the academic, intellectual, and career development of trainees at all levels. The candidate should focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills and collaborating effectively with medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Ambulatory Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Schedule includes three days in clinic and two days in surgery with dedicated OR time.
• Procedures performed in clinic include cystoscopies, ultrasound, prostate biopsies, BCG, etc., excluding vasectomies.
• Average outpatient clinic volume: 15 - 25 patients per day.
• Call schedule: 1:2, with residents taking first call.
• Inpatient rounding as needed.
• Minimum of two years of teaching and leadership experience.
