Position: Board-Certified Academic Urologist

We are seeking a Board-Certified Academic Urologist to join our Urology practice. The physician will mentor medical students and residents, participate in patient care, perform urology procedures, and contribute to teaching and training the next generation of physicians. The ideal candidate exemplifies outstanding clinical and teaching qualities and is passionate about the academic, intellectual, and career development of trainees.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
2. Perform urology procedures such as cystoscopies, ultrasound, prostate biopsies, BCG, etc. (excluding vasectomies).
3. Mentor and teach medical students and residents, fostering their professional growth.
4. Participate in clinic and surgical schedules, including outpatient clinics and dedicated OR time.
5. Take first call with residents and conduct inpatient rounding as needed.

Work Schedule:

• Ambulatory clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Three days in clinic, two days in surgery per week.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of teaching and leadership experience.
