Job summary

Essen Health Care in New York is seeking a Urologist Physician to join our growing network. The selected candidate will perform daily urology duties, collaborate with physicians, and manage patient care from evaluation to treatment planning.

We offer full- and part-time schedules, comprehensive benefits, and visa sponsorship. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Ideal candidates hold NY medical licensure and a board-certified/eligible Urology certification.

Qualifications

• MD or Doctor of Urology required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Successful completion of an Endocrinology residency training program.
• Active Medical License to practice medicine.
• Current New York State Medical Practitioner License.
• DEA and DPS registration for prescription writing.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients through conversations, interviews, and examinations.
• Order and analyze tests, labs, and imaging as needed.
• Diagnose urological conditions and plan treatments.
• Collaborate with other physicians and staff to determine care plans.
• Set patient goals and timelines for treatment.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
• Document patient records and treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, prognosis, and care options.

The selected candidate will be responsible to perform daily Urologist duties including but not limited to:

• Evaluate patient through conversations, interviews, and observations
• Administer patient tests or request testing/lab work; analyze patient data and results
• Diagnose patient with correct psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorder
• Collaborate with patient s physicians and other medical staff to determine treatment
• Set patient s goals and discuss treatment plans
• Establish timelines, tasks, and medical needs of patient
• Analyze the best medications or therapy to help patient reach goal
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient intake
• Document patient records and progress, including symptoms, medications, and treatments
• Counsel patient and listen to their reactions to treatment
• Provide patient with emotional tools and methods for recovery
• Educate patient, patient s family, significant others, and relevant parties of patient s progress, treatment, and future goals

The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Urology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Urology
• Successful completion of an approved Endocrinology residency training program.
• Active License
• Current New York State Medical Practitioner License
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing.
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus, but not a requirement
