Qualifications

Urgent Care Physicians

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic healthcare services to patients of all ages
• Take medical histories, examine patients, order diagnostic testing, interpret test results, make diagnoses, and create treatment plans
• Perform minor surgical procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal
• Perform splinting and casting for minor orthopedic injuries
• Document patient encounters thoroughly and accurately
• Conduct follow‑up calls to patients; handle incoming patient, pharmacy or physician calls

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine, Urgent Care and Internal Medicine (with urgent care)
• Successful completion of an approved residency training program
• Active License
• Current New York State Medical Practitioner License
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing
• Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus, but not a requirement

Salary: $210,000‑$240,000

Salary may reflect bonuses and incentives
