Job Opportunity: Physician - Urology at AnMed Medical Center

VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physician specializing in Urology to join our locum pool at AnMed Medical Center in Anderson, SC. This position offers flexible coverage dates and the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment.

Details:

1. Location: Anderson, SC
2. Start Date: Flexible, based on coverage needs
3. Shift: Day shift
4. Coverage Dates: Multiple dates from June to December, including holiday coverage
5. Responsibilities: Provide urology services including ureteroscopy, laparoscopic surgeries, trauma care, nephrectomy, incontinence procedures, and intraoperative ultrasound. Collaborate with a team of four urologists in a Level II trauma center with onsite labs and imaging.
6. Patient Load: 15-20 patients per day
7. Procedures: Ureteroscopy, laparoscopic surgeries, general urology, trauma, nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy, intraoperative ultrasound, incontinence procedures
8. Additional Info: 24-hour call, average of 2-5 surgeries per weekend, EMR system: Epic, credentialing estimated at 60 days
9. Reimbursements: Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rates

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Urology
• Credential requirements to be confirmed with VHS upon application
