Urologist opening in Alma, Georgia

Located in southern Georgia, approximately 100 miles from Savannah, GA, and Jacksonville, FL.

Job Details:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Critical Access medical center
• Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Urologist to join the hospital staff in a traditional office-based setting, providing inpatient and outpatient services
• Work schedule: Monday-Thursday, Friday
• 50:50 outpatient/inpatient case mix
• Compensation: wRVU production model with base salary plus productivity bonus
• Benefits include PTO, retirement plans, insurance, and CME allowance
• Average patients per day: starting practice with a goal of 25 patients daily
• Number of other providers: no other urologists; team of 10 providers

Hospital Details:

5-bed, general, acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission, providing adult and pediatric medical care, surgery, and obstetrics.

Built in 1952 through community efforts, it includes a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, a Convalescent Center (88 beds), a Child Development Center (average daily census of 153 children), and a Community Care Center.

Alma, Georgia:

Alma is a safe, friendly community of approximately 3,000 residents, located 100 miles from Savannah, 70 miles from Brunswick and the Golden Isles, 110 miles from Jacksonville, 24 miles from Douglas, and 26 miles from Waycross.

Bacon County Airport features a 5,000-foot runway, 24-hour self-serve fuel, hangars, a courtesy car, and a lighted runway.
