This Critical Access medical center in South Georgia is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Urologist to join the hospital staff. The role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient services in a traditional office-based setting.
The employed physician will receive a competitive salary based on MGMA guidelines, along with contractual benefits including participation in health, disability, and malpractice insurance programs, relocation expenses, educational loan assistance, and support for office setup from the medical center's administrative team.
The hospital is a 25-bed, general, acute care facility, accredited by The Joint Commission, offering adult and pediatric care, surgery, and obstetrics.
Founded in 1952 on Wayne Street through community efforts and Hill-Burton grant funds, the hospital is part of a successful health system that includes a Convalescent Center (88 beds), a Child Development Center (average daily census of 153 children), and a Community Care Center. The entire system has been Joint Commission accredited since 1995. The CEO, with extensive hospital administration experience, has been with the system since 1981.
