Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing rural hospital team in La Grande, Oregon. The role offers relocation support, a four 10-hour day schedule, and a competitive salary with a strong benefits package.

The ideal candidate will hold current NP/PA licensure with board certification or eligibility and 1–2 years of urology experience, preferably in a rural setting. Excellent patient care and teamwork are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted urological exams and comprehensive history reviews.
• Diagnose and manage common urological conditions including UTIs, incontinence, and BPH.
• Perform office-based procedures such as catheterizations, bladder scans, and cystoscopies.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for urology surgeries.
• Order and interpret labs including urinalysis, PSA, and renal panels.
• Develop long-term treatment plans for chronic conditions like kidney stones and prostate health.

Location: La Grande, OR (Rural Eastern Oregon)

Compensation: $140K - $145K+ per year

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted urological physical exams and comprehensive patient history reviews
• Diagnose and manage common urological conditions, including UTIs, incontinence, and BPH
• Perform office-based procedures such as catheterizations, bladder scans, and cystoscopies
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing urological surgery
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, including urinalysis, PSA levels, and renal function panels
• Develop long-term treatment plans for chronic conditions like kidney stones and prostate health

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility (required)
• 1-2 years of experience as a NP/PA with experience in Urology preferred
• Comfort with and interest in practicing in a rural community setting

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary ($145K+)
