Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Current NC Medical Board license and NCCPA certification for PA track.
• Current NP license and board certification (AANP/ANCC) for NP track.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required to start; DEA/DPS registration for prescription writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments in medical/surgical settings.
• Assist in urology procedures and manage pre/postoperative care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with the medical team.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; explain procedures to patients.
• Engage in teaching, research projects, and learner precepting.
