Job summary

The Specialty Alliance is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for a Peoria, AZ urology role affiliated with AUUA. The position involves performing comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting labs and imaging, and developing care plans alongside supervising urologists.

Requires an MSN or PA degree, active state license, and a DEA license. Urology experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or PA degree from an accredited program.
Active and valid state medical license.
DEA license (DPS license) required.
Urology experience preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Sees new and follow-up patients and provides problem-oriented intervention for their urological conditions.
Assists in care, treatment, and follow-up as needed.
Perform and/or assists in-office procedures, including transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) volume studies, cystoscopies, post-void residual (PVRs) evaluations, difficult catheterizations, post-op voiding trials, and other necessary procedures.
Orders and interprets lab, x-ray, special studies, and clinical procedures, and provides appropriate care and follow-up.
Provides phone/video consultation for patient complaints and prescription refills.
Performs on-call duties for urology.
Evaluates, screens, and counsels patients on health maintenance and promotes utilization of community resources.
