Job summary

Academic Urology & Urogynecology of Arizona (AUUA) – Peoria, AZ, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join its urology team. The role focuses on comprehensive evaluations, diagnostic interpretation, and collaborative treatment planning in a private-practice setting.

The candidate should hold an MSN or PA degree, be licensed, and have DEA credentials. Urology experience is preferred but not required, with strong communication and leadership abilities essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or PA degree from an accredited program.
• Active and valid state medical license.
• DEA/DPS license.
• Urology experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete evaluations on patients of all ages.
• Order and interpret lab work, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
• Establish working diagnoses and develop treatment plans in collaboration with urologists.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and provide appropriate follow-up care.
• Refer to the supervising urologist or specialists as needed.
• See new and follow-up patients and provide problem-oriented intervention for their urological conditions.
• Assist in care, treatment, and follow-up as needed.
• Perform and/or assist in-office procedures (TRUS, cystoscopies, PVR evaluations, catheterizations, post-op voiding trials).
• Order and interpret lab, x-ray, and other studies; provide care and follow-up.
• Provide phone/video consultations for patient complaints and prescriptions.
