Job summary

New York Health is hiring a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for Urology in Queens. You will evaluate and manage patients in a multidisciplinary setting, order and interpret imaging, and develop personalized treatment plans.

The role requires an NP or PA with MSN or certification and current licensure. Experience in pain management or spine care is preferred; Spanish speaking is a plus. Competitive salary and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or PA certification from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as NP or PA.
• Preferred experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or spine care.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Conduct comprehensive history, physical exams, and develop diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Read and interpret X-rays, CTs, MRIs to aid diagnosis.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure expectations and informed consent.
• Perform procedures such as trigger point injections, intrathecal pump refills, Botox, and joint injections.
• Manage patient triage and respond to inquiries; coordinate with physicians and staff.
• Stay current with interventional pain management through educational sessions and conferences.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to ensure quality care.
