Mercy Clinic Urology at Southfork in St. Louis, MO is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to support physicians and APPs in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will room patients, take vitals, prepare for visits, assist with procedures, and manage documentation and testing while ensuring patient safety and HIPAA compliance. We offer a Monday–Friday day shift with no weekends or holidays, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within Mercy.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Preferred Experience: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic.
• New hires must attend MA Clinic Academy training.

Aufgaben

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist physicians and APPs with patient care and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain instruments and clinical equipment.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms.
• Perform point-of-care testing.
• Complete medication reconciliation and administer injections as appropriate.
• Assist with basic in-basket messages and medication refill requests.
• Complete documentation and scanning.
• Communicate patient needs and updates with physicians and APPs.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and medical record requests.
• Enter diagnostic and ancillary orders.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, PPE, quality, and safety standards.
