UROPARTNERS LLC in Mount Prospect, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the delivery of urological services. This full-time role involves administrative and clinical duties, coordinating with physicians and staff, and ensuring smooth patient flow in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience, be comfortable with EMR systems, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience (based on State regulation requirements).
• Ability to work well in stressful situations and coordinate with multiple deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare systems operations and EMR/Practice Management solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and clinical duties under supervision to keep the office running smoothly.
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments with physicians, nursing, and staff.
• Greet patients, measure vital signs, and document medical history and chief complaints.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures and perform phlebotomy and basic lab tests.
• Prepare for seeing patients, update medical history, and maintain patient logs and prescription ledger.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper documentation for all patient records.
