Job summary

Solaris Health Holdings LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support urological services and function as a key member of the interdisciplinary team. The role includes routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the medical office running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has MA program training, at least 6 months in a physician’s office (urology preferred), and a commitment to patient care, accurate documentation, and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent, per state requirements.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a physician’s office; urology experience preferred.
• Certification or registration preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR and practice management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments with physicians and staff.
• Greet and prepare patients for examinations.
• Record vital signs and collect patient history.
• Provide patient education on medications and home care.
• Assist with exams, phlebotomy and basic lab tests.
• Perform EKGs and assist with radiology procedures.
• Prepare medications under physician supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient records and logs.
• Adhere to HIPAA and organizational policies.
