Gila Regional Medical Center seeks a Medical Assistant to support outpatient clinics, coordinating patient care and assisting physicians across specialties. The MA will document visits, prepare patients for procedures, and participate in community health activities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, NM CMA credential preferred, and BLS certification. Experience in fast-paced medical offices and EMR systems is preferred. Employment is in the outpatient setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant in NM preferred and BLS certification.
• Experience in medical office and EMR systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Verifies patient information, vital signs, and documents in health record.
• Assists physician during procedures in the clinic.
• Coordinates patient flow and prepares specimens for testing as needed.
• Communicates patient needs with physicians and staff.
• Educates patients and families on preventive care and resources.
• Participates in community outreach and health promotion activities.
• Maintains a safe, confidential, and compliant clinic environment.
